Language and Business Events with Monifieth High School and St John's RC High School
DYW Dundee & Angus has worked closely with two schools to help deliver successful Language and Business events for S3 pupils. In October 161 pupils attended Monifieth High School’s event, and in January 98 pupils took part in the workshops at St John’s RC High School.

Scotland's greatest asset is its people. Scottish Apprenticeships and work-based learning create opportunities for everyone, no matter the size or sector. Co-ordinated by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), this year's Scottish Apprenticeship Week took place from the 2nd-6th March and the theme was 'Talent Without Limits'.
Plant the Seed!
On Thursday 27th February Developing the Young Workforce organised a Rural Career Event called Plant the Seed! The aim of this event was to give secondary pupils from Dundee and Angus the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, meet employers and individuals who work within the sector and learn about the different career options.

Introduction to Social Enterprise
The DYW
Dundee & Angus team recently worked in partnership with the Social
Enterprise Academy to deliver two workshops for teachers, giving an
introduction to running a social enterprise in schools. These sessions were
open to any primary or secondary teachers who wanted to find out how to set up
and operate a successful social enterprise in their school.
