We are recruiting local professionals to help promote learning languages and studying business to S3 pupils.

Dundee secondary schools are hosting a series of Business & Language workshops for third year pupils in December. The workshops will illustrate the benefits of learning a second language or studying business and will encourage young people to consider a modern language or business course in their subject choices.

By speaking to students about their careers,  professionals can show young people how what they learn in school can be used in their lives after school. Having diverse professionals come into school and talk about their experiences can enrich learning, show the real life application of their studies and broaden young people’s career horizons.

Four morning sessions are running in the first week of December, each involving a different school:

Tuesday 5th December – St Pauls RC High School – 9am-12:30pm – Onsite

Wednesday 6th December – St John’s RC High School – 9am-12:30pm – Onsite

Thursday 7th December – Harris Academy – 9am-12:30pm – Onsite

Friday 8th December – Braeview Academy – 9am-12:30pm – Location TBC
