Today sees the start of National Baking Week. Here in Dundee there is much going on throughout the year within schools with many pupils actively pursuing qualifications in cake decorating.

Alternatively the Scottish Bakers Association rebranded its training arm to National Food & Drink Training (NFDT) and they offer vocational training in all aspects of the bakery industry from manufacturing techniques, craft skills, health and safety and management development.
