Following the success of previous years, DYW are launching our fourth #NoWrongPath campaign which seeks to inspire and reassure young people that even in these most difficult times there are still opportunities for them to progress and that there is no wrong path to success.

This year has been unique due to the disruption to education and the subsequent impact to final examination results and it is important now more than ever to connect with school leavers who may not have received their expected results as well as those in the older age groups who may be leaving college or university and who now face a very different labour market.

We want to reach out to organisations and individuals who themselves may have travelled along many pathways to get to the point they are at just now and who can share their story either through a photograph, video or case study which we can then share and promote across all of our channels and networks using #NoWrongPath as the vehicle to get as much information in front of as many young people across Scotland as possible.

This year we are also very keen to engage with organisations who may be offering apprenticeships, jobs or training either now or, potentially, in the ‘near’ future so that we can collate these opportunities and guide young people towards them.

To get involved…

Step 1: Pledge your support for the campaign and mark Tuesday 4th August in your diary.

Step 2: On Tuesday 4th August post a photograph or video of yourself on social media with a handwritten sign with your name, what you did when you left school and what you are doing now and including #NoWrongPath social media resources can be found at www.nowrongpath.scot

Step 3: Nominate a friend or colleague to do the same.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
