Job purpose
Dingbro looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the Automotive industry, learning hands-on skills while working towards a recognised qualification. As a Parts Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the parts department, gaining practical experience in stock control, customer service, and logistics within a busy commercial workshop environment. You will work closely with experienced staff who will guide and support you throughout your apprenticeship
What will I learn?
• Assisting with ordering, receiving, and storing vehicle parts • Picking and issuing parts to workshop technicians • Helping maintain accurate stock records • Dealing with internal and external customers in person and over the phone • Supporting general warehouse and parts department duties • Learning to identify commercial vehicle components
What qualifications or qualities are required?
• A strong interest in vehicles, mechanics, or the automotive industry • Willingness to learn and develop new skills • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Basic IT and numeracy skills • Reliability and a positive attitude • No prior experience required – full training provided
