Tina McGuff – Free School Tour 2024/2025

I am the author of Seconds to Snap, a critically acclaimed book detailing my recovery from an eating disorder. Over the years, I have supported countless individuals and families through talks, workshops, and personal guidance.

My experience in student support services, delivering Mental Health First Aid, and collaborating with schools, hospitals, and organisations underscores my commitment to mental health awareness.

In response to the urgent need for mental health education, I am offering a free tour of Scottish high schools, starting in Tayside.

These sessions will address topics such as self-esteem, eating disorders, anxiety, and recovery. Workshops will be tailored to the needs of each school and supported by resources from SEEME, Supported ED, and Beat Eating Disorders. I will also provide opportunities for one-on-one support and signposting.

Media outlets, including Lorraine Kelly, STV, and the BBC, are helping raise awareness about this initiative.

Feedback from my previous talks highlights the transformative impact they’ve had on students, families, and staff.

If you’d like me to visit your school, please email me at Tina_McGuff@hotmail.com.

Together, we can empower young people to prioritize mental health and recovery.
