Installation Administrator Modern Apprentice with Sidey (Perth)

From Sidey’s Perth Head Office, you will administrate the installation of fenestration products and provide
outstanding service to Sidey’s commercial clients across Scotland. You will carry out daily routine tasks,
typically data input, or preparing paperwork, and action incoming ad-hoc enquiries from colleagues and customers. You must be able to prioritise your workload to ensure all tasks are completed on time and seek assistance from your supervisor, if required.
A polite, professional manner is essential in this customer facing role, you will regularly speak with social housing tenants receiving new windows and doors. A positive attitude when faced with challenging situations and initiative to go beyond the basic function of the role, will assist you becoming a successful member of the Sidey team.


As part of your Modern Apprenticeship you will complete a SCQF L5 Business Administration and must participate fully in all coaching and training provided to complete SVQ modules to become competent in your role.



  • Receive incoming calls to commercial installation department
  • Communicate survey and installation dates to clients and tenants by telephone and email
    Accurately input information changes to Sidey systems
  • Produce and distribute installation schedules and associated paperwork
  • Scan and electronically file returned site paperwork
  • Place material orders with external suppliers, or internal stores


Process sub-contractor invoices for payment
Provide general administration support to the Contract Director, Contract Manager, Site Managers and Admin Manager as required.
