Hello, from Hayley Wilkinson and James Hopgood, your local Education Youth Development Lead’s for The King’s Trust in Dundee. We are thrilled to introduce our enhanced Education Offer, designed to support young people and schools through our Achieve and School Transition programmes.
This year alone, we have enrolled over 11,000 young people onto our Education Programmes through a network of over 800 education providers. Our programmes are tailored to boost confidence, encourage new experiences, and help young people gain recognised King’s Trust qualifications.
What We Offer
The Achieve programme benefits young people through:
- A flexible Personal and Social Development curriculum for ages 11-19.
- Qualifications at SCQF levels 3, 4, and 5.
- Aims to re-engage, enable, and encourage young people.
- Works to recognise achievements of all types and sizes.
Programme Details
- Duration: 12 weeks to 3 years, adaptable to your school’s needs.

- Life Skills
- Personal Social Development
- Active Citizenship
- Enterprise
- Preparation for the World of Work
- Skills for School
As your dedicated Achieve programme Lead, Hayley will provide in-person support, assist with King’s Trust paperwork, and help integrate the programme into your school.

The School Transition programme benefits young people through:
- A flexible personal and social development programme for ages 15-17.
- Opportunities for pupils who are leaving education with no outcome or undecided on their next steps to engage in inspiring programme themes.
- Through our unique approach to education and learning, we are enabling young people to gain qualifications and vital experience required for most employability options.
Programme Details
- Duration 2-week full-time programme.
- Delivered in collaboration with King’s Trust staff and King’s Trust mentors.
- 6 days of partner-led themed employability sessions followed up with tailored outcome support with a dedicated key worker.
- Programme themes include Technology and Sport.
- Available for Winter and Summer leavers.
