Empowering Young People Aged 11-19 through the Achieve Programme
Hello, I’m Hayley Wilkinson, the local Youth Development Lead for The King’s Trust in Dundee. I’m thrilled to introduce our enhanced Education Offer, designed to support young people and schools through our Achieve programme, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Last year alone, we supported over 16,000 young people through a network of 900 education providers. Our programme is tailored to boost confidence, encourage new experiences, and help young people gain recognised King’s Trust qualifications.
Our Vision
We aim to:
- Support young people from disadvantaged communities and those facing adversity.
- Build strong relationships with teaching staff and school partners.
- Provide support for recruiting participants for the Achieve Programme.
- Enhance school transition and employability pathways.
- Collaborate on projects, accreditation, and bespoke Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion training.
What We Offer
The Achieve programme benefits young people through:
- A flexible Personal and Social Development curriculum for ages 11-19.
- Qualifications at SCQF levels 3, 4, and 5.
- Opportunities in Enrichment, Employability, and School Transitions.
- Closing the attainment gap while providing valuable “hard outcomes.”
