Excellent morning last Wednesday at the Primary Engineer awards at Arbroath High School! Pupils from Primary Schools across Angus worked in teams to build a moving vehicle that could travel across the floor and climb up a ramp. This project enabled the pupils to learn key engineering skills, such as the basics of how motors, electrics and mechanics work, as well as learning about all of the planning and preparation that goes into building a vehicle. Some of the pupils said that after this project they now want to be Engineers when they grow up, which is fantastic! A great example of DYW in action!
