DigiTay is a new event to celebrate International Hour of Code, hosted by DYW Dundee & Angus and D&A College.
The digital industry is an exciting one that has undergone massive changes, and continues to develop and grow, constantly creating new career opportunities and pathways. DigiTay hopes to increase awareness of this.

We are hosting an open evening for young people, parents and teachers to learn about the career potential in the numerous different sectors of the digital industry and gain some hands on experience through Code Academy.
Local experts will discuss the importance of digital in their profession and will illustrate different pathways open to young people who want to pursue a fulfilling and successful career in the industry. Attendees will be able to explore on-line resources, see the work of a Code Academy lesson and speak to a variety of professionals and organisations. The evening will close with a panel discussion, with questions from the audience in the room and an on-line audience.
